We believe very much in the saying, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

Our mission is simple--it is based on respect and love for a culture that has experienced many difficulties. The culture is rich with creativity and ingenuity yet natural disasters and poverty have left children and adults without many options to provide for themselves.

The Haitian people are bright and intelligent just waiting for opportunity to present itself. We provide opportunities by building relationships with communities through dance and the arts. We focus on community strengths. We teach trade skills and offer dental and medical excursions. We believe very much in the saying, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." We ask volunteers to become students and learn much by engaging in this beautiful culture.
